Translation of personal documents requires maximum attention to details, as it is very important that all the details are observed in the finished translation: from the serial number to spelling of given names, geographical names or inscription on a stamp. All information in the source document should be easy to read. This applies to abbreviations, stamps, and handwritten text and inscriptions. Translation of some intricacies requires help from the document owner. We will definitely clarify this information, because an explanation will help to avoid errors when performing transliteration. However, if you provide us with this information on your own initiative when submitting personal documents for translation, it will definitely speed up the process and reduce the chance of error on the part of our translators. Also, it should be checked that all names (proper names, addresses, names of organizations) were identical in each of the documents. If you already have translations of documents, you should also provide them to us, so that the new document in "foreign language" had been translated just as you are required.
Most commonly, all official documents are subject to notarization or legalization. This is necessary to give the document legal force on the territory of another country, so we recommend you to specify the current requirements of the country and the authority where you plan to submit documents.
P.S. According to the Law of Ukraine On Protection of Personal Data, dated 01.06.2010 No. 2297-VI, as well as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR; Regulation (EU) 2016/679), our company does not file performed translations, so please, dear Customers, we kindly ask you to keep translations of your documents in electronic or paper form.
